InformationWith a work that was written ahead of his time, Holst’s “Planets”, has been the model for many classical composers, as well as motion picture composers when it comes to the description of the planets and space. The show begins with the powerful and dark “Mars”. The second segment changes in character with the music of “Venus”. The final segment brings forth a royal setting with the music of “Jupiter”. The show has so much variety and color, that it will show off your band’s capability of playing great music.There are 3 movements, Features are: Trombone solo, Trumpet solo, Mellophone solo, Euphonium solo.
