WITH A TWIST
| Information | This marching band show uses familiar melodies and then "twists" them into something unexpected. Part 1 Uses a Shostakovich melody and mashes it with another melody. There is a flute duet featured in this segment. Part 2 Uses another melody by the same composer featuring your sax section, and then "twists" it into a latin chart. The second half of this segment is a ballad (one can separate and make it an independent movement)and features a flute and mellophone duet. Part 3 Takes the melodies heard and "twists" them into a fugue-like section, followed by a percussion feature, and trumpet solo, and then a full ensemble shout to the end.
