Jair Klarfeld does a great job of arranging, and what I really like about his arrangements is that they are more than just a note-for-note realization of the score. He writes original material that helps connect sections or provides powerful beginnings and endings. Arrangers that are slow are so common in this field, but Jair has always been on time and I’ve never had to ask for a rewrite or felt like I wasn’t important because I teach in California and he is in Texas.
