SCHEHERAZADE 1- or The 1001 Arabian Nights is a cornucopia of storytelling – one of the world’s finest – as the beautiful young Scheherazade tries to stave off nightly threat of execution by telling a story so enticing that her would-be-executioner husband so desires to hear the end of the story that he postpones the execution till the succeeding night. THE MUZIK BOX
THE MUZIK BOX is about three characters: The evil box maker, the ballerina, and the toy Soldier. Part 1 opens with the box maker building the Muzik Box and then testing it by winding it up his large key. Part 2 is a beautiful setting of the ballerina falling in love with the Toy Soldier. Part 3 is the two characters trying to escape from the box and it’s maker. Features are: Trumpet solo, Euphonium solo, Clarinet duet.
